Join us this fall for a powerful three-part webinar series with nationally recognized library safety expert Rick Jenkins. Building on his highly acclaimed session at the 2025 Texas Library Association Annual Conference—Rick returns to deliver an expanded and in-depth version of his signature safety and de-escalation training, designed specifically for the library environment.
With more than 30 years of hands-on experience, including 15 years as Lead Security Officer at The Seattle Public Library, Rick brings real-world insight to the unique safety challenges faced by public libraries. His proactive, compassionate approach emphasizes customer service, conflict de-escalation, and a positive workplace culture—leading to lasting, transformative results for both staff and patrons.
Each hour-long session will combine practical training, scenario-based discussion, and interactive Q&A, giving participants tools they can immediately apply in their day-to-day work.
